Bunches deliver flowers by post and were started by a husband and wife team back in 1989. In the past 21 years they have delivered over 2.5million bouquets of flowers throughout the UK!
On Saturday I was greeted by this box (made from 100% recycled & recyclable material).....
The flowers arrived in great condition, well packaged and well fed! I was immediately struck by the beauty of the flowers and the lovely colours. However it got even better! As I lifted out the flowers I found this lovely Christmas card and a wee box of chocolates too!
As you would expect, the flowers come with liquid food to prolong their life. I fully admit that I'm not very good at flower arranging, but these came in such a lovely arrangement that I just had to snip off their ends slightly and pop them in a vase.
These particular flowers cost £29.99, including free chocolates, card and delivery. In fact all of the prices listed on the website include free delivery by first class post. Like I said in the Moko Chocolates review, I really like this, I'm definitely not a fan of hidden costs!
Another similarity to Moko Chocolates is the rewards scheme they offer. With every purchase at bunches.co.uk you can collect Posy Points towards your future orders. For every pound you spend, you gain 10 posy points worth 0.005p each. The table below shows you the kind of rewards you can attain.
There are also bonus posy points on some products, so it's worth keeping an eye out for those when you are browsing potential gifts! If you are a keen bargain hunter you should also sign up to the Bunches Facebook page, there is a promotions tab on there with the latest offers!
A lovely touch on the website is the option to send a free ecard to thank the sender of your gift! I'm a big believer in saying thank you, and insist upon writing to thank family & friends for gifts, so personally I think this is a great idea!
Finally, I just want to mention that Bunches donate 10% of their profit annually to charity, specifically to carefully chosen projects that benefit communities in developing countries by helping them to build themselves a sustainable future. So when you're looking for that perfect gift, keep in mind that the gift you give could be helping others too.
Why not go one step further and order your Bunches gifts by first clicking through EasyFundraising? You could get a 6.5% donation for your chosen charity.
I am absolutely delighted with my flowers and really look forward to seeing how well they last. I have also been thoroughly impressed with the service Bunches offer, and hope that you will find that too! It's not just about bouquets at Bunches though, they also sell houseplants and helium balloons - great range of gifts....and remember if you fancy sending chocolates, look no further than their sister company Moko Chocolates.

One Winter Wonder bouquet was received for the purposes of this review. All views expressed in this post are my own. I did not receive any other reward, financial or otherwise for this post.

I've used Bunches before. I'd recommend them too - reliable delivery and good quality and great value. I also order through my cashback site and get 5% back! Ever the frugal shopper!
ReplyDeleteThe only negative I'd say is they are quite traditional arrangements (lots of carnations & chrysanths) so better for things like Xmas and Mother's day - not very modern and fashionable.
Another great review Rhoda! x
Thanks for your comment Liz. Yes I see what you mean, perhaps some more funky arrangements would be good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your experience with Bunches...and your 5% cashback tip!! :-) x
