Win With Wilkinson

We've been redecorating our kitchen recently ... well I say "we" but in reality it has been hubby and a friend that have done it while I've just helped to chose colours etc. We've been in our house for nearly five years and have been meaning to give the kitchen a freshen up all of that time but just never got round to it. I have to say it's looking pretty good right now and hopefully this weekend we will get some new blinds up and complete the look.

For us it's all about doing things as nicely as possible on a budget. A lick of paint and a newly dyed pair of curtains can make all the difference to a room. Likewise the addition of some carefully selected accessories can really help to complete a look.

Again, they don't have to cost the earth and you can get some great bargains if you know where to look. My sister in law has just bought her first flat and has fallen in love with Wilkinson. She's found some great pieces in their stores that help to give her new flat a homely feel and haven't broken the bank. As I'm naturally nosey  and like a good bargain I've been checking out their website and have found some great items to add to our new look kitchen.

In fact I was lucky enough that Wilkinson recently me sent out a sample from their new bistro chic White Bamboo Kitchen range.

Sauce Pot Set - £10

This trio sauce set arrived and I think it's fab! Three small pots complete with lids and spoons...and a stand for them - all for a tenner.

I like the idea of using them for sauce but to be honest we don't really use sauce a lot in this house, so I've put them to a new use. They are filled with raisins and coconut ready to use on my morning yoghurt. I have to admit I do feel kind of like I'm in a hotel using these wee pots - in a good way I mean, I almost feel posh!
